Beyoncé‘s fifth studio album is slowly taking shape: after The-Dream told Billboard that new music would “definitely” be released before the pop superstar’s February performance at the Super Bowl halftime show, R&B star Ne-Yo has confirmed that he’s heading into the studio with Blue Ivy’s proud mother.

Via MTV.com: Miguel released his sophomore album Kaleidoscope Dream less than two months ago, which means that he’s still got videos to shoot and singles to promote, but right now he’s taking some time out to record with Beyoncé. Miguel got the call from Beyoncé’s camp late last week, just before he hit the Powerhouse stage in Philadelphia, and he tells MTV News that he’s “ready to ride the wave” with Queen B.
