Beyoncé continues to run 2013. The R&B superstar will act as honorary chair at this year’s Costume Institute Gala alongside the likes of Vogue editor Anna Wintour and famed Givenchy fashion designer Riccardo Tisci, WWD reports.
As honorary chair Beyonce will help welcome this year’s Met Costume Institute exhibition “Punk: Chaos to Couture” opening to the public on May 9. The Costume Institute Gala, also known as the Oscars for the fashion industry, always attracts the most glittering musicians sporting gorgeous couture.
Although Beyonce may be busy with her Mrs. Carter world tour this year, we wonder what Queen Bey’ will rock if she does show up for a surprise appearance and possibly a performance on May 6.

All the single ladies — and fellas — will have a chance to join Beyoncè onstage at the upcoming Super Bowl.
Pepsi announced Friday that 100 fans will hit the stage when the Grammy-winning diva performs on Feb. 3 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. A contest that kicks off Saturday will allow fans to submit photos of themselves in various poses, including head bopping, feet tapping, and hip shaking. Those pictures will be used in a TV ad introducing Beyonce’s halftime performance, and 50 people — along with a friend — will be selected to join the singer onstage.
The photo contest ends Jan. 19, but Jan. 11 is the cut-off date for those interested in appearing onstage with Beyonce.

Lately, she’s been working with Tina Knowles and, as with any good momager mother, mama Knowles passed Lang’s handiwork down to her daughter, Beyoncé. The makeup artist and facialist, who only does house calls, has now been tending to B’s stay-at-home-mom face since spring, but only for big, red-carpet events; the singer prefers to do her own makeup for everything else (like when she’s sitting courtside with Jay-Z at a Nets game). Read on to hear about Lang’s favorite looks, plus some products tips for Beyoncé.
